Practice Sessions :
All sessions begin with introductions and a warm-up. Athletes then move on to technical work specific to their events. Depending on the day, this may include activities such as working in the sand pit, using the high bar, practicing running mechanics, doing approach work (both short and long), training with wickets, hurdles, blocks, or jumping into the pit. Each session is tailored to meet the individual needs of the athletes. Our 5-to-1 coaching ratio enables us to provide this personalized attention. For those on our competitive team, their practice sessions are carefully planned to ensure they are well-prepared for their next competition.
Open Pole Vault Pit :
Open Pit is geared towards the post-collegiate or Open/Masters athlete. It is a way to continue to jump without needing your own equipment. If you and your old teammate just want to come and jump, then this session is for you. These sessions will be monitored for safety but will be relatively structure-free. Go for bungees or cross bars. It is up to you.
Private Lessons :
Please email us if you are interested. These sessions are open to individuals of all ages and abilities. We will begin with a consultation to assess your needs, allowing us to focus on improving your specific weaknesses. Private lessons are designed entirely around you. We will discuss your goals and tailor our time together to work towards achieving them, using a variety of training methods.
What to bring:
Please bring a completed waiver to your first practice session. For all sessions, bring water, running shoes/spikes, and a notebook. Dress appropriately for all types of weather.
Please send us a message if you would like to be added to our email list.
